Family Matters — Bloom Season, Mailchimp

Some businesses are born from big plans. This one was born at a breakfast table.
Katie Mitchell, a regular girl from Atlanta by her own description, sits down with her mother Catherine and walks through the story of how a single quiet moment between the two of them became Good Books — an online and pop-up Black bookstore that went from idea to first sale in less than 30 days. No grand strategy. Just a mom and a daughter, a table full of used books, an Instagram account, and a mission to make sure Black literature gets the full shelf it deserves.
Warm, unhurried, and deeply human — this is a film about what it means to build something real with the person who raised you.
